The Published Record
Every project below has a published case study with its contract value and programme stated. We publish the numbers because most contractors do not, and because a portfolio without figures tells a prospective client almost nothing about whether a builder can handle their project.
| Project | Sector | Contract Value | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Bishops Avenue | Design & build residence | £7m | — |
| Mill Hill | Luxury new build | £2.5m | 14 months |
| Mayfair | Whole floor refurbishment | £1.9m | 34 weeks |
| City of London | Grade A office fit out | £1.65m | 20 weeks |
| Bushey Heath | Contemporary new build | £1.5m | 11 months |
| Highgate | Cinema & entertainment level | £950k | 16 weeks |
| Chelsea | Open plan refurbishment | £1.1m | 28 weeks |
| Stanmore | Commercial fit out | £675k | 12 weeks |
| St John's Wood | Private residence refurbishment | £850k | 30 weeks |
| Hampstead | Bespoke library & joinery | £120k | 12 weeks |
Contract values and programmes as stated in each published case study. Client names and addresses are not disclosed.
The smallest published commission is a bespoke library and joinery installation in Hampstead. The largest is a complete design and build private residence on The Bishops Avenue. Both were run by the same team under the same contract discipline: an itemised contract sum, a named director, and a fixed programme.
Contractors who only publish their largest projects are usually telling you what they aspire to rather than what they routinely deliver. The middle of this list, the £850k to £1.9m refurbishments in St John's Wood, Chelsea and Mayfair, is where most of our work sits.
Two of the ten are commercial: a Grade A office fit out in the City and a commercial fit out in Stanmore. The discipline that commercial fit out demands, phased handovers, live building constraints, tight programme certainty, is the same discipline that makes a prime residential refurbishment finish on the date it was promised.
If you are weighing a project of your own, the Project Assessor gives a first pass on complexity and programme in about three minutes, and our guides from the senior team cover costs per square metre, planning consents and party wall process in detail.
